There are more coffee shops in Emsworth than there are Estate Agents which is a good sign.

Loretta’s Coffee Bar on the High St is a quirky cafe with a distinctly Italian feel to it. Besides coffee, cake and a light lunch menu they sell olive oil, wine, post cards and newspapers.

Cafe on Platform 2 is another. However, more often than not, it is closed. But if you understand the difference half a mug of condensed milk makes to the usual house coffee, this is the only place to go.
